Let Your World Be Gently Lit by Miracles

The miracle alone is your concern at present. Here is where we must begin. And having started, will the way be made serene and simple in the rising up to waking and the ending of the dream. When you accept a miracle, you do not add your dream of fear to one that is already being dreamed. Without support, the dream will fade away without effects. (A Course in Miracles, T-28.III.1:3-7)

To say, “I will there be Light,” is an invitation to the Holy Spirit for help to see past appearances to the Light that is always present, here and now. As we are willing to open to the Light, Love rushes in and washes away the false ideas that caused the appearances in the world. Where once separation was perceived, our unity is recognized. Fear is replaced by Love. Uncertainty is replaced by certainty. Sadness is replaced by joy.

Today our practice is to let the world by gently lit by miracles all through the day.

Let Holy Spirit Turn On the Light

We have been in the dark so long that we don’t always realize we are peering around trying to see in the darkness. When we are not at peace or happy, it is a clue to let Holy Spirit turn on the Light. Holy Spirit waits on welcome.

As we relax and let go, there is a natural, easy change of mind. What appeared difficult and hard is transformed into the experience of ease and gentleness. The rough seas are calmed. What appeared to be a mountain is transformed into a mole hill. It naturally feels easier to let the appearance pass by because it is recognized as meaningless.

As we learn to apply this to every circumstance where fear comes up, we learn we have a constant Companion That is ready and willing to turn on the Light in every darkened situation. We always have the Help available. It is our job to accept the Help. We do this by stepping back from our thoughts and allowing ourselves to return to a state of peace.

Turning on the Light allows Christ’s vision to transform our perception. We are able to see past the form to the truth of our unity in Love. In gratitude we accept the Help.

The End of Dreams

The end of dreams is promised me, because God’s Son is not abandoned by His Love.

The goal the Holy Spirit’s teaching sets is just this end of dreams.

Accept your Father’s gift. It is a Call from Love to Love, that It be but Itself. The Holy Spirit is His gift, by which the quietness of Heaven is restored to God’s beloved Son. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.279.1:1;7.2:1;5:1-3)

We accept our Father’s gift by opening to the peace within and welcoming Holy Spirit’s guidance. As we do this, we see that efforting is not necessary. We let ourselves be led to the gentle vision of innocence. There we experience the quietness of Heaven. We experience the joy of joining with all our brothers in the oneness of Love.

Our practice today is to facilitate the end of dreams by seeing past images of separation to the truth. Thus will we experience the blessing of God’s Love.

Giving the Body a New Purpose

The body was made to make separation appear to be real. But now we are learning to give the body a new purpose. With Holy Spirit as our Guide, the body becomes a vehicle to be helpful in the Holy Spirit’s plan for undoing the dream. As we follow the meaning the Holy Spirit gives to the body, we heal and are healed.

Simple, uncomplicated Love takes over and we are able to see past the separated forms to the one Mind of Love that is eternally there. In truth we are all joined in that one mind of Love. It is this that we want to remember. This is our practice today.

Freedom from Bondage

Freedom from the bondage of the ego’s thought system is our practice for today. We have enslaved ourselves by choosing to believe we are limited to a separate identity contained in a body. This belief makes us unaware of the limitless Love we are. It leaves us feeling deprived, lonely, weak and afraid. This need not be.

We have the means within our minds to free ourselves from the bondage of this limiting belief. Our true Self is always offering us the limitless Love that is given by God. We need only be willing to accept the Gift. We do this by bringing all our judgments, our guilt and fear to our Self with willingness to receive the vision of our true Self, Which sees past the appearances of limitation to the limitless Love we are and everyone is.

Today we practice aligning with the vision of our Self to see limitless Love everywhere. This practice frees us from bondage.

Love Is Gentle

Love waits on our readiness and willingness. It never forces or pushes us past our level of willingness. But our willingness is required for Love to enter and extend through us. As we receive an infusion of Love through our willingness, It freely extends to all because that is its nature. As we accept Love, It becomes our gift to the world and we are blessed.

Our practice today is to let Love’s gentleness wash through us, healing our minds and extending that healing to all. What a wonderful opportunity we have today!

We Invite the Quiet Mind Today

No matter what is happening in our life today, we can still go within and welcome the quiet peace of our true Self. The gentle quietness the Holy Spirit brings helps us see every experience we encounter differently.

In truth we are completely immersed in Love’s Presence. As we consistently open to this truth throughout the day, every situation is seen differently. We are able to see with the Holy Spirit’s vision as we give Him welcome. Holy Spirit’s peace heals our perceptions and we naturally extend the peace we receive. Here, in peace, we experience the fact that God is our strength and vision is His gift.

We learn that we do not require a special form or setting in order to invite the quiet Mind and receive its many blessings as we go through the day.
